Booking Deposit
To reserve your date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. Your final balance is due 4–6 weeks before the ceremony.
Your payment schedule and booking terms will be confirmed when you reserve your date. Please ask about date changes or cancellations before booking.
Travel
A mileage fee of $2/km applies for ceremonies more than 35 km one-way from St. Catharines, Ontario.
Share your venue address for a travel quote before reserving your date.
Marriage Licence
You’ll need to bring a valid Marriage Licence, which can be obtained from any Ontario municipal office.
After your ceremony, you apply separately for your official marriage certificate once your marriage has been registered. Check the Ontario guidance for current requirements and timelines.

Planning your ceremony should feel simple.
Are you licensed to perform legal weddings in Ontario?
Yes. I am an Ordained Metaphysical Minister/Reverend and licensed to officiate weddings in Ontario. I also personally handle and submit the legal paperwork after your ceremony.
Can our ceremony be spiritual but not religious?
Absolutely. Your ceremony can be spiritual, religious, secular, interfaith, traditional, modern, or completely your own. I help you create something aligned with your beliefs and values.
Do you help us write vows?
Yes. My Ceremony Design Kit includes vows, readings, poems, and rituals to inspire you. I also offer guidance so your vows feel heartfelt and natural.
Do you offer rehearsals?
Yes. The Rehearsal Ritual is available as an add-on for $150 CAD. It includes a 75-minute guided walkthrough at your venue.
Do you travel?
Yes, I officiate weddings across Ontario. Travel fees may apply depending on your venue location.
How do we reserve our date?
Start by sending your wedding date, venue, and guest count. We’ll discuss availability and your ceremony vision in a complimentary consultation. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date.
Can we include cultural traditions, family, or personal rituals?
Yes. Your ceremony can include cultural traditions, readings, prayer, handfasting, family blessings, humour, and personal vows. We’ll discuss what matters to you and shape the ceremony around your beliefs and values.
What if we’re still deciding on a venue or ceremony details?
You’re welcome to reach out with what you know so far. Tell me your preferred date, approximate location, and guest count, and we can discuss the next steps together.
When do you arrive, and who supplies the microphone?
I arrive 30 minutes before your ceremony to connect with your team and prepare. You or your venue supply the microphone and any sound equipment needed. Please confirm these arrangements with your venue or DJ before your wedding day.
What happens if there is an emergency?
I have never missed a wedding. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I have a few trusted backup ministers I can contact to help arrange coverage for your ceremony.
How long will our ceremony be?
We’ll discuss the length during planning, based on your vows, readings, rituals, and venue requirements.
How do we receive the complimentary planner?
Free Amplify Love Weddings access is included with every wedding ceremony package. Your access details will be provided as part of your booking. You can return to your saved plans from your phone or computer.
Do you officiate weddings in Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake?
Yes. I’m based in St. Catharines and officiate personalized weddings and elopements across Niagara, including Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake, as well as ceremonies across Ontario. Share your date and venue so I can confirm availability and travel arrangements.
What do we need for a legal wedding in Ontario?
For a wedding with a marriage licence, obtain a valid Ontario marriage licence before your ceremony and arrange two witnesses to be physically present. Ontario states that a marriage licence is valid for three months from its issue date. I handle submission of your completed legal paperwork after the ceremony.
